On 28 September 2021 Russia – EU bilateral political consultations took place in Brussels. The Russian delegation was headed by Director of the European Cooperation Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Nikolay Kobrinets. The European Union was represented by Managing Director for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the European External Action Service, Michael Siebert.
The parties discussed in detail the current state of Russia – EU relations as well as topical issues on the international agenda.
