On 7 June a reception on the occasion of the National Day was held on the premises of the Permanent Mission of Russia to the European Union. The reception was attended by representatives of the EU, NATO, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other federal ministries and agencies of Belgium, Belgian business and civil society, diplomatic corps as well as journalists accredited in Brussels.
At the reception works of the famous Russian photographer Eduard Pesov were shown ahead of the opening of the exhibition in the Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Brussels on 8 June.
