President of Russia signed Order On Extending Certain Special Economic Measures to Ensure the Russian Federation’s Security

Vladimir Putin signed Executive Order On Extending Certain Special Economic Measures to Ensure the Russian Federation’s Security.

In order to protect the national interests of the Russian Federation and in accordance with Federal Law On Certain Economic and Enforcement Measures dated December 30, 2006 and Federal Law On Security dated December 28, 2010, the President ruled to extend from January 1 until December 31, 2020 certain special economic measures stipulated by the Presidential Executive Order No. 560 On Special Economic Measures to Ensure the Russian Federation’s Security dated August 6, 2014 and extended under Presidential executive orders No. 320 of June 24, 2015, No. 305 of June 29, 2016, No. 293 of June 30, 2017 and No. 420 of June 12, 2018.

The Government of the Russian Federation has been instructed to ensure, within its authority, the fulfilment of measures to implement this Executive Order.

The Executive Order takes effect as of the day of its signing.
