President of JSC “Russian Railways” Vladimir Yakunin visits Brussels

Mr. Vladimir Yakunin, President of JSC “Russian Railways” paid a working visit to Brussels on May 4-5, 2010. He had meetings with the Vice-President of the European Commission responsible for transport, Mr. Siim Kallas, with the European Parliament Committee on transport and tourism, Mr. Brian Simpson, as well as with the Belgian State Secretary for Mobility, Mr. Etienne Schouppe. Issues of Russia-EU cooperation in the field of rail transport and of development with the EU member states of infrastructure projects aimed at Transeuropean Transport Networks modernization were discussed.
