On 30 January 2020 Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the European Union Ambassador Vladimir Chizhov received Chair of the Delegation of the European Parliament for relations with Iran Cornelia Ernst (Group of the European United Left/Nordic Green Left, Germany).
The meeting focused on the situation around the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), and opportunities of cooperation to preserve it.
