A regular meeting of the Economic Council under Russian Permanent Representative to the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community was held on 4 July 2017.
Vital issues of the Russia-EU relations including interaction in various areas of sectoral cooperation as well as bilateral business dialogue were discussed at the meeting.
The Russian Permanent Representative’s Economic Council was established in December 2016 as a platform to discuss with representatives of the Russian business community the state of affairs and prospects of Russia-European Union economic cooperation, as well as problems Russian businesses are currently facing in the EU. It consists of representatives of the leading Russian companies and state corporations with operations in the EU Member States.
