Press release on the meeting of Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini
On 4 December, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission Federica Mogherini in Basel on the sidelines of the 21st OSCE Ministerial Council meeting.
During the meeting, they discussed various aspects of Russia-EU relations, including plans for the future. They also touched on the central international issues of the day, with a special focus on the Middle East peace process and ways of resolving the internal conflict in Syria.
