On 30 August Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov met with Head of the EU Delegation to Russia Vygaudas Ušackas, at the latter’s request.
In the course of the discussion the officials exchanged views on current issues of the Middle East agenda, focusing on developments in Syria, Yemen and Libya, as well as the Palestinian-Israeli settlement process.
