Alexander Grushko, Russian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, met with Gunnar Wiegand, Director for Eastern Europe, Southern Caucasus and Central Asia of the External Relations Directorate General of the European Commission, in Moscow on October 21.
They discussed topical issues in relations between Russia and the European Union, including the situation in the negotiating process on a new Russia-EU framework agreement, as well as the prospect of transition to a visa-free regime.
