President of Russia Vladimir Putin offered his deep condolences to Prime Minister of Italy Matteo Renzi over the loss of life in an earthquake in central Italy.
In his message, Vladimir Putin said that people in Russia are mourning together with the friendly Italian people and expressed readiness to provide the necessary assistance with disaster relief efforts.
The President of Russia also conveyed sympathy and support to the families and friends of the victims and wished speedy recovery to the injured.
