On 8 September 2010 Ambassador Vladimir Chizhov met the EU Political and Security Committee (PSC), the first such meeting under the Belgian EU Presidency.
The meeting embraced preparations for the forthcoming 65th UN General Assembly Session, current situations in Kyrgyzstan and Georgia as well as prospects of Middle East Peace Process.
Ambassador Walter Stevens of Belgium, who chaired the meeting on the EU side, briefed on the visit of EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton to China.
