Member of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation participates in roundtable “Minsk II or War: Challenges to Conflict Resolution in Eastern Ukraine” in the European Parliament
On 10 October 2018 Alexei Pushkov, Member of the Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, Chairman of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy, participated in roundtable “Minsk II or War: Challenges to Conflict Resolution in Eastern Ukraine” held at the European Parliament in Brussels. The event was organised by MEPs from the Czech Republic, Germany and Latvia, representing the Greens/EFA and GUE/NGL group.
The meeting enabled a comprehensive discussion of the current situation and prospects of conflict resolution in the South-East of Ukraine. The participants of the roundtable underlined that there is no alternative to full and phased implementation of the Minsk agreements.
